NURSING STUDENTS AT NTI

We have approximately 80 places for nursing students at NTI. Currently we have 33 in the Senior Course (3 years) and 42 in the Junior Course (4 years). Forty percent of the students are male. The students come from all over Bangladesh and from different religious and ethnic groups, but all are from disadvantaged and marginalised communities. Entry to the courses at NTI offers a chance to undertake some recognised education and to acquire a profession which can be used for the benefit of their communities in the future.

To enter NTI training, students must be of Bangladeshi citizenship, aged 18-22 years, unmarried and physically fit. For the junior course, SSC GPA of 2.25 in any group of subject is required, and for entry to the senior course HSC, GPA of 2.50 with priority to science subject groups is needed. Selection is by written and viva examination and interview.
